an Introductory Class in the basic principles of color with an emphasis
on mixing paint and brush techniques using the medium of Acrylics.
For beginners and intermediate levels. All materials are included
in the cost of the class.
We will
be working with acrylic paints. The class explains the basic
principles of color mixing, ways to handle the paint on the brush, and
basic brushing techniques. This is a hand-on class. We will
be painting, so wear appropriate clothing. The class is limited to
8 students per session.

Class Description:
This class is for adult
beginner and intermediate painters that want to paint or become
acquainted with the medium. With a maximum of 5 spaces available,
each attendee will get one-on-one attention. The class will
consist of instruction on acrylics and how they work, the basic
techniques of using acrylics and exercises using those techniques to
work on a painting during class time. Instruction will be
commensurate with your expertise. All materials are included in
the cost of the class.
The goal is for each attendee to complete
one painting during the course of the class.

Make Up/Rescheduled Classes/Gift Certificate Classes
Since
the space in each class is limited to 5 people there is no refund per se
for a missed class. By paying and reserving your spot and not attending,
you will have effectively taken that space away from someone else who
might wish to attend.
If you
have purchased a space for a class and are unable to attend that class
AND have notified me at least one day prior to your scheduled class,
you may take a Make Up class. Make-up classes are only available if there
are spaces left the evening before a scheduled class. You will need to
contact me the evening before another scheduled class to see if
there is availability.
**If
you are the recipient of a Gift Certificate, please contact me a.s.a.p.
with your preferred class, but no later than the Friday preceding a
scheduled class.
